Micabi Ken's American Akitas

german version

Our first American Akita "catched" us in the easterweek of 1995, while I visited friends in Andalucia/Spain. Since then we are addicted to the breed. Our andalusian "Agenor" developed to a great, healthy and perfectly temperamented dog, and so we decided to be interested in breeding American Akitas. With the final ackknowledgement as a distinct breed "American Akita" in the FCI in 2000, we joined the Akita Club e.V. (VDH/FCI) in September of the same year.

We are more than happy about the decision of the FCI to name the breed, finally in Jan. 2006, the deserved "American Akita" and let end the unpleasant time of the "Great Japanese Dog". Further we are happy that FCI-group 5 was chosen for us now. It was really strange with this spitztype dogs in the molossian world.

Our puppies are growing up in closest family circle (house and yard), are versatile shaped (all noises in the house and those important tools around it - and they are already routined with kids when they start to discover the wide world, learn the car-rides. and. and. and.)

We are feeding as much variety as possible to prevent raising "difficult eaters". Regular dewormings and vaccinations are only natural here.

If you like to meet our dogs or are interested in a puppy, don't hesitate to contact us, please.
We are happy about every interested visit in arrangement.

we are happy about a nice pawstep in our guestbook.
